In 1913, Denmark's perhaps the foremost national symbol, The Little Mermaid, was unveiled in Copenhagen, created by the sculptor Edvard Erikson.

Four years ago, another statue depicting a mermaid appeared in the port of Asaa.

Now the heirs to Edvard Eriksen are furious.

They believe that the statue "On the way home" is too similar to The Little Mermaid and demands that it be moved and destroyed.

Denmark's "second mermaid" has attracted tourists to the port of Asaa and visitors want to keep the stone sculpture.

In the video, you can see the two sculptures and hear the visitors' opinions.
