Drivers can present their electronic driver’s license to handle traffic management, traffic violations, traffic accidents, and other traffic management services. There is no need to submit a paper driver’s license. Drivers can also show their electronic driver’s license for insurance claims, rental vehicles, and job recruitment. The unit verifies driving qualifications online to make it easier for the masses to drive and to better serve the development of the enterprise industry.
Li Guozhong said that in the next step, the Ministry of Public Security will improve the information system, complete supporting systems, and increase the promotion of electronic driving licenses on the basis of the preliminary trials.
