Cultural relics protection and archaeology-related discipline systems are not sound enough, and archaeological research, interpretation and verification are urgently needed to be strengthened; cultural relics scientific and technological innovation is weak, the innovation system has not yet formed, and the cultural relics protection management and utilization system needs to be improved.

  Li Qun said that the next step will be to further strengthen the legal protection of cultural relics, improve the legal system of cultural relics protection, promote the protection of the Great Wall, the Grand Canal, the Long March cultural relics, and the revolutionary cultural relics protection legislation, implement major cultural relics protection projects, and further build a cultural relics technology that integrates industry, research, research and application.
