The largest rainfall occurred in a village (172.3 mm) in Wenquan Township, Yanbian County, Panzhihua City.

The rest of the area has light to moderate rain and local heavy rain.

  It is understood that the heavy rainfall has also caused many expressways in Sichuan Province to experience reduced visibility or serious road surface water.

  At 5:10 on the 18th, Ya'an City has updated its orange rainstorm warning to a red warning. In the city’s Yucheng District, Duoying, Daxing and other places, the rainfall has reached more than 100 mm in 3 hours and rainfall (above 20 mm/hour) is likely continued.

The Meteorological Bureau of Leshan City and Jingyan County issued a blue rainstorm warning, and the Meteorological Bureau of Emeishan City and Jiajiang County issued an orange rainstorm warning signal.

The Central District and Shawan District of Leshan City issued a flash flood disaster risk warning, sent 2807 early warning text messages, and transferred 369 people from 114 households in the flash flood risk area and flood-threatened people.

At 8:12 on the 18th, Leshan City has launched an emergency response to level VI flood control.
