August 17th is the fourth day that the northward Asian elephants return to their traditional habitat in Pu'er, Yunnan.

At around 4 a.m. that day, under the guidance of the staff, the elephant group passed through a culvert under the Kun-Mo Expressway, which relieved a lot of pressure on Mojiang County, not far from the other side of the expressway.

It is reported that although the Asian elephants have returned to their traditional habitats after entering Mojiang, they need to cross the Kun-Mo Expressway to return to their original habitats in Xishuangbanna Prefecture, otherwise they may be close to Mojiang County.

After the Asian elephants crossed the Kun-Mo Expressway smoothly, they moved one step closer to Xishuangbanna Prefecture.
