The final of the "NHK Cup National Junior High School Broadcasting Contest" was held in Tokyo, where junior high school students from all over the country competed for TV and radio program production technology and announcement and reading technology.

The final of the "NHK Cup National Junior High School Broadcasting Contest", in which 511 schools from all over the country participated, was held in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo on the 17th.



Since last year's tournament was canceled due to the influence of the new coronavirus, it was held for the first time in two years, and 84 works that won the preliminary round in four categories were judged.

Of these, 12 films, including documentary and drama-style works, were screened in the TV program category, and as a result of the screening, Toyama City Hayahoshi Junior High School's "Hayahoshi Ribbon War" was selected as the highest award.


Interviews with students about the change of uniform ties to ribbons are repeated to emphasize the importance of having their own ideas.



In the radio program category, the work "How far is you?" From Kasuya Higashi Junior High School in Kasuya Town, Fukuoka Prefecture was selected as the highest award.



In the announcement category, Hanako Yamamoto, a second-year student at Suetake Junior High School in Kudamatsu City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, and Akane Kakiuchi, a third-year student at Saga Prefectural Chienkan Junior High School, were selected for the highest award.
