The Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare is looking for people to cooperate in the investigation of AstraZeneca's new coronavirus vaccine, which was added to the official vaccination this month, to investigate side reactions after vaccination.

The AstraZeneca vaccine was approved this May, but it was pointed out that there is a very rare risk of blood clots, and the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare announced on the 3rd of this month that people under the age of 40 in principle unless necessary. Added to public vaccinations on condition that they are not vaccinated against.



After that, the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare decided to solicit applicants aged 20 and over, inoculate them sequentially from the 21st of this month, and investigate side reactions.



The bases are eight medical institutions, including the Juntendo University Hospital in Tokyo, the Japan Community Health Care Organization in Kumamoto Prefecture, and the National Hospital Organization in Mie Prefecture, and we are calling for cooperation through the Internet and other means.



The period is up to 4 weeks after the second inoculation, and the body temperature and the condition of the inoculation site are recorded in a diary and submitted, and the research group of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare analyzes and publishes it regularly.
