The system is one foot high, and the child is "one foot high"?

Can't prevent children's "anti-addiction"

"Children love to play with mobile phones, and this holiday is even more uncontrollable." Mr. Wang, the parent, was surprised that he had heard that the game had an anti-addiction system, but it didn't work for his children.

The reporter's investigation found that the anti-addiction information of different manufacturers' games is not interoperable. As long as children play enough games, they can always change games.

Other games have very loose authentication for players, even minors are not restricted, and even large amounts can be recharged.

Hide verification: some games are ineffective against addiction

Mr. Wang's children are playing four popular mobile games at the same time, and they all have an anti-addiction system.

Among the three games, minors can only play 1.5 hours on non-holidays, and one game can only play for 1 hour. The playable time on holidays is doubled.

From 22:00 to 8:00 the next day, minor accounts cannot log in.

Such play time scale mainly refers to the regulations in the "Notice on Preventing Minors from Indulging in Online Games" issued by the National Press and Publication Administration in 2019.

These four games were produced by three game companies.

The reporter found that two games from the same manufacturer share the game time, but the anti-addiction information of games from different game manufacturers is not interoperable. One game can be played for a limited time, and then another game can be played.

The reporter has since tried to download a number of top-ranked big-brand games, and all of them are required to provide ID card information during registration to determine whether they are included in the anti-addiction system for minors.

However, compared with the more famous games, the anti-addiction verification of some small manufacturers' games is not strict.

For example, for a game called "Mecha Battle", although ID information is required to be filled in when registering, even if the minor account's play time reaches 1.5 hours, the game is not forced to be offline.

Not only that, when the player wants to click to exit, the game will also pop up the recommended icons of several other games to "retain", click on these games, you can still continue to play.

These games are at least "getting out of form" in anti-addiction verification, and other games simply ignore this one.

On a short video platform, the reporter found a "download-free game entry" with hundreds of click-and-play games, including online games of battle and upgrades.

These games do not require real-name registration, and minors can play without restriction.

Dodging censorship: "representing face recognition" has become a business

Some underage players are only addicted to one game, racking their brains will also extend the playing time of this game.

For this reason, they will steal the ID cards of their parents and elders, or find an adult's ID card to register in various ways, so as to avoid the review of the anti-addiction system.

In order to solve the problem of illegal use of ID cards by minors, some game manufacturers have launched a "face recognition" detection function.

For accounts whose real-name authentication is an adult, but the features in the game are suspected to be minors, the system will initiate facial recognition verification.

If the player refuses to verify, or the verification information does not match, the system will put the player into anti-addiction supervision.

But the so-called Dao is one foot high, and the magic is one foot high. Some children have already thought of a way to "fudge the past" even with face recognition.

In a game post, an underage player tweeted "How can I play 1.5 hours a day during holidays" and asked if anyone could do "face recognition".

In the reply, many people said they could provide this service and left their contact information.

In addition to Tieba, there are also some "generation over" service providers hidden in the QQ group under the name of "video production".

Once there are underage players looking for "face generation" in the group, someone will send a private message to take the order.

Some QQ groups are even more blatant, and the group name says "A certain game has replaced face recognition."

The reporter added a customer service who provided services, and the first "passed over" price given by the other party was 100 yuan.

According to the customer service, even if it passes smoothly for the first time, the system may send face recognition detection every few weeks.

If you don’t charge any money if you do it again within two weeks, you can do it once every two weeks for 25 yuan.

Behind the merchants who have done face recognition, there is a possibility that there is a black industry chain that infringes on personal privacy and information trading.

According to reports, the Guangdong police detected the country's first new cybercrime case of "cracking the youth anti-addiction system" this year, arrested 13 criminal suspects, and found over 500 illegal websites and 6 studios.

These criminals first purchase citizen information, and then use technical means to bypass the game's facial recognition verification. Their main service targets are minors.

Avoid supervision: minors can recharge at will

Although the daily play time is limited, many games still attract players to go online with "daily tasks" and "limited time activities".

If a player does not log in to the game during a certain period of time to participate in the event, the day’s benefits will not be available.

What should I do if I missed the event, received less benefits, and couldn't compare to other players?

At this time, another way to "become stronger" is in front of the players to recharge.

As long as the money is charged, the player can instantly obtain a large number of in-game props, resources, and equipment. If these things do not cost money, it will take a long time to obtain them.

"Thousand yuan recharge is free! Unlimited recharge online!" In the app store, the reporter found a game called "Knife of the Gods", and the slogan was very bluffing.

After clicking to enter, I didn't understand how the game should be played. First, I jumped out of a sign-in and prize-collection interface, and it said "Activate the red diamond to get double sign-in reward".

According to the store, the opening price of the red diamond is 98 yuan.

The slogan mentioned in the slogan sent thousands of yuan to recharge, and it was indeed received afterwards, and the game account was suddenly upgraded to VIP10.

It's just that the seemingly generous benefits are pits that game merchants dig for players.

VIP10 level is almost worthless in this game. The entire VIP level system can reach up to level 27.

On the VIP upgrade page, the system continues to tempt players, "Recharge 5 yuan to reach VIP11, and the combat power soars by 470,000."

Taking into account the lack of self-control of minors, the "Notice on Preventing Minors from Indulging in Online Games" not only restricts the game time, but also restricts the recharge behavior of minors.

"For users over 8 but under 16 years old, the single recharge amount shall not exceed RMB 50, and the cumulative monthly recharge amount shall not exceed RMB 200; for users over 16 years old and under 18, the single recharge amount shall not exceed RMB 100 Renminbi, the cumulative monthly recharge amount cannot exceed 400 yuan." After the announcement, many game manufacturers have also implemented recharge restrictions according to this standard. The 98 yuan red diamond permission in the "Knife of the Gods" is for players under 16 years of age. It won’t be activated.

However, there is also a 30 yuan gold diamond stall on the top-up page, which can also be opened by younger players.

Other games have changed the law to skip restrictions and evade supervision.

In a game called "Battle of Eternal Night", five recharge packages are provided in the main interface, ranging from 1 yuan to 198 yuan.

Inexpensive gift packages can be given as "open service push-off artifacts", while the most high-end gift packages can be given as "full orange outfits, dominate the whole service".

But after clicking the recharge button, the system did not pop up the payment page, but gave a customer service QQ number.

After adding QQ, the customer service will give a recharge link.

There are astonishingly many recharge items in the link. There are more than ten types such as "Endless Fund" and "Recharge Gifts", and the highest recharge level has reached 648 yuan.

Because the link is not set in the game, the system will not determine the player's identity information at all, and minors can also recharge at will.

Statement: Home, school and society should bear the responsibility of guiding

Li Xiuxiang, director of the Trade and Environment Research Center of Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics, has been paying attention to the problem of minors’ addiction to games for many years. In her opinion, relevant state departments should promote the establishment of a big data platform for anti-addiction games, and all manufacturers’ online games should be on the platform. Record.

Minors play different games, and the time should be accumulated at the same time. After the time limit is reached, they can no longer play any games.

In response to the imperfect anti-addiction detection system, Li Xiuxiang believes that a national technical standard should be introduced.

In fact, the National Press and Publication Administration issued a set of public announcements on July 28 this year, mentioning the first batch of industry standard projects to be established in 2021, including the "Technical Requirements for Online Game Anti-addiction Real-Name Certification", the project cycle For 24 months, the purpose is to standardize the relevant technical requirements for the entire process of online game anti-addiction real-name authentication, promote online game operating units to standardize real-name authentication work and quickly and safely access the online game anti-addiction real-name authentication system, and accelerate the promotion of online game anti-addiction The application and promotion of the real-name authentication system in the industry.

Li Xiuxiang made suggestions from the perspective of technology and standards, while Zhang Xin, an associate professor at the School of Psychology and Cognitive Sciences of Peking University, mainly considered issues from the perspective of how parents, schools and society should guide them.

"Schools should carry out more face-to-face after-school activities during school hours, so that children can have fun without their mobile phones. During the holidays, communities and social units should take over the baton and organize more outdoor activities to attract children to participate. Now there are very few such activities in society, and children can’t get out of the house.”

Zhang Xin believes that when children are at home, parents should not treat electronic devices as "electronic babysitters" and throw them away to do other things on their own. Instead, they should pay more attention to their children's needs and play and have activities with their children.
