On August 17, local time, in Barisal, Bangladesh, workers took a boat to pick water lilies in a 40-square-kilometer canal.

Workers work in the canal in the morning, wearing handmade hats to protect their heads and bodies from the sun.

Farmers will sell these delicate and beautiful pink flowers in the local market.

Water lilies cover more than 10,000 acres of canals and wetlands in Barisal Province, Bangladesh.

Each flower is carefully picked by farmers in small wooden boats, and these flowers only bloom at specific times from August to November.
