In an ecological pasture in Hongdun Town, Altay City, Xinjiang, covering an area of more than 10,000 square meters, more than 100 cows of local herders are raised here.
In order to improve the dairy cow breeding environment and improve the milk quality of dairy cows, and bid farewell to the old model of free-range rearing, a new type of "cow nursery" was funded by the enterprise to centrally raise the cows of surrounding herders and provide jobs for the herdsmen nearby.
It is understood that the "cow nursery" adopts the model of'enterprise + ecological farm + cooperative + file establishment + dairy farmer'. The dairy cows are enrolled in the nursery to provide health protection throughout the whole process by the professional breeding management team. The enterprise sells fresh milk from the pasture. Profits and national policy support subsidies optimize the distribution to achieve a "win-win" profit for enterprises, farmers and herdsmen.
This "cow nursery" has 9 breeding sheds and can raise 2000 dairy cows.
