The boldness of the new movie, Saba Mubarak and Moez Masoud, does it provoke controversy?

Anticipation and an expected state of controversy awaits the screening of the movie "Princess" by the star Saba Mubarak, producer and preacher Moez Masoud, as the work was chosen to compete during the fifth session of the El Gouna Film Festival to participate in the feature film competition, to be the premiere of the Arab film.

Amira is scheduled to compete in the Afaq competition at the 78th Venice Film Festival.

Moez Masoud wrote on his Instagram account: "I am happy with the Arab premiere of the film Amira during the fifth edition of the El Gouna Film Festival."

He added, "Once again, I congratulate the success partners, my friends, Mohamed Hefzy, Mohamed Diab, and all the work team. The film Amira is a touching human story about the life of a Palestinian girl. Its world premiere will be at the 78th Venice Film Festival."

Critics expect the work to provoke controversy because of its bold theme, as its events revolve around many issues related to Palestine through its heroine (Amira), whose role is embodied by the artist Saba Mubarak, a Palestinian who was born through a microscopic insemination process after smuggling “sperm” from her imprisoned father in Israeli prisons. She goes through difficult circumstances to find out the truth behind her identity.

A group of Arab stars, most notably Saba Mubarak and Ali Suleiman, and young actress Tara Abboud in her first cinematic work, written by the trio Mohamed, Khaled and Sherine Diab, participate in the film.
