At noon on August 14, residents and rescuers wearing masks lined up to pick up their lunch at the lunch pick-up point in Liulin Town, Hubei.

From the 11th to the 12th, extreme heavy rainfall occurred in Liulin Town, which caused more than 8,000 local people to be affected, 21 people died and 4 people lost contact.

The whole town is cut off from water and electricity, life is inconvenient, and it is difficult to eat and drink.

In order to ensure the daily life of the disaster-stricken people, Liulin Town has set up a centralized resettlement site to centrally resettle more than 300 people affected by the disaster.

At the same time, we urgently dispatched instant noodles, bread, mineral water, masks and other daily necessities, and arranged 7 lunch boxes to provide local residents with three meals a day for free to ensure that the affected people could eat hot meals and drink clean water.
