At the 12th press conference on the prevention and control of the new crown pneumonia epidemic in Zhengzhou on the 14th, Li Shuo, a member of the Nucleic Acid Testing Department of the Zhengzhou Epidemic Prevention and Control Headquarters, informed that Zhengzhou currently has 16 provincial and municipal hospitals and 27 A third-party testing agency participated in the testing, with a total of 28,348 professionals participating in the testing; the daily single-checking capacity was 450,000 tubes, which can basically meet the needs of the city’s nucleic acid testing work.
During the advancement of nucleic acid testing, Zhengzhou insisted on the combination of full-staff testing and key population testing, making overall arrangements and coordinating advancement.

Li Shuo said that in terms of the deployment of testing forces, according to the specific conditions of each district (county), development zone, and testing organization, combined with the actual nucleic acid testing of all employees in the first three rounds, scientific analysis and judgment, and appropriate measures to time and local conditions, when deploying nucleic acid testing organizations Pay attention to strong selection and allocation, and provide a list of testing institutions with strong testing capabilities, high efficiency, and good quality for two-way selection and use in the jurisdiction; at the same time, the city’s testing resources are coordinated and deployed to maintain matching of collections and inspections.
In terms of inspection quality control, a closed loop of sampling, transfer, inspection, entry, and query work was constructed. A total of 36 experts were selected to monitor the entire process of each inspection agency, and continuous quality inspections were carried out to provide feedback on the inspection situation at any time, and to find and solve problems at any time. The testing institutions that do not meet the requirements of the work are adjusted in real time to ensure the quality of testing.
Li Shuo also informed that the next step of nucleic acid testing will continue to be carried out in a hierarchical, step-by-step, and full-staff testing manner.
The fourth round of nucleic acid testing for all employees in Zhengzhou will begin on August 15. It is expected that sampling will be completed on August 17 and testing will be completed on the 18th.
