Oita Prefecture announced on the 14th that it was confirmed that 89 new people were infected with the new coronavirus.
It was the fourth largest number of people in the prefecture per day.
On the other hand, one person who was announced as infected on the 13th was confirmed to be negative as a result of retesting.
This brings the total number of confirmed infections in the prefecture to 4,336.
