Of these, one person from overseas was a media person, who had already passed the 14-day quarantine period after coming to Japan.



In addition, the number of people living in Japan was eight contractors for the Games, two staff members of the Organizing Committee, and one person involved in the Games.



No one stayed in the athletes or the Olympic Village.



On the other hand, no new infected persons related to the already closed Tokyo Olympics were confirmed.



The total number of infected people in Japan and overseas announced by the Organizing Committee from July 1 is 540 for the Olympic Games and 16 for the Paralympics, for a total of 556 people.
