On the afternoon of August 14th, the Beijing Meteorological Observatory issued a thunderstorm yellow warning signal. It is estimated that by 09:00 on the 15th, there will be thunderstorms in most parts of the city. The local hourly rain is 40-60 mm strong, and the thunderstorm is accompanied by short-term strong winds of 7 or more. And hail, please take precautions.
It is understood that there are two levels of lightning warning signals, which are represented by yellow and orange.
After the yellow thunder warning signal is issued, please pay attention to the following defensive measures:
1. Stop carrying out outdoor activities in open areas.
2. Stop swimming in the river, river, lake, and sea.
3. Keep away from big trees, wall corners or places with protruding metal objects; do not hold objects with metal sharp corners upright in your hands or on your shoulders.
4. The government and relevant departments will do a good job in response to thunder and lightning in accordance with the plan.
