Miyagi Prefecture and Sendai City announced on the 13th that 212 new people have been confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus.

This is the second highest number of daily infection confirmation announcements, after 220 on the 12th.

The total number of infected people in Miyagi prefecture is 11,279.
