Defendant Li fictitiously had a military identity or background, and fictitious work unit and occupational income level, gained the trust of multiple victims and interacted with them, defrauding each victim to transfer a total of RMB 524,521 to him.
The defendant Li had a romantic relationship with the victim, Ms. Gou, through the above-mentioned methods. During the period, he defrauded him of RMB 79,000 for the reasons such as billing, repayment of arrears, and advance payment of medical expenses.
[Explanation] The man used this technique to defraud 8 people in a row, and was eventually sentenced to 10 years in prison for fraud.
