At a funeral in which the stars were absent.. Egypt bid farewell to the artist Mohamed Jibril

Today, Friday, in Cairo, the funeral of the Egyptian artist, Mohamed Jibril, who died yesterday at the age of 76, after suffering from cancer, took place in Cairo.

The late artist was famous for his long career, and he presented many secondary and auxiliary roles in cinema, television and theatre.

Away from the spotlight, and at a funeral where stars and celebrities were absent, the funeral of the late took place today after Friday prayers in the suburb of Helwan.

The late artist (born in 1945) obtained first the Faculty of Agriculture at Cairo University, then the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts in 1979, and held positions in the Syndicate of Acting Professions, as well as the Ministry of Culture.

He participated in artistic works collected by the big stars, led by Ahmed Zaki, Mahmoud Abdel Aziz, Adel Imam and others.  

Among the late's participation, which amounted to about 160 works, are the series "Bab Al-Khalq", "The Man and the Horse", "Escape to Prison", "Ghawayesh", "Ali Al-Zaybak", "The White Flag" and "Muhammad is the Messenger of God", And the films “The Customer”, “Revenge”, “Al-Bay Al-Bawab”, and plays and works for children in bulk.
