Publicity
In Malta, almost 4 years after the death of Daphne Caruana Galizia
, killed in the criminal explosion of her car, criminal proceedings are still ongoing. And the
family of the blogger continues the fight for the truth, in
particular through a foundation which bears her name, and whose mission goes beyond the case of Daphne Caruana Galizia:
by denouncing the judicial harassment and the abusive sentences which target journalists or the media
, the Foundation Struggle to preserve press freedom. In Malta,
Juliette Rengeval.
Charges deemed abusive against journalists are also being denounced
in the self-proclaimed Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. 3 print journalists face six years in prison, following articles which revealed a case of illegal sale of passports
for political purposes. Their trial began in early June 2021, and it raises fears of a major setback for press freedom. We are talking about it with one of our correspondents in the region,
Joël Bronner.

In Milan,
Frédérique Lebel.
Sand to counter the effects of climate change ... and titanic works ... it's happening in the Netherlands
where the authorities have undertaken in recent years to reshape the coasts
to protect them from warming.
And on the island of Texel in particular, 7 million tonnes of sand are dumped along the North Sea ... To the delight of seagulls, and walkers ...
Antoine Mouteau.
Vincent Théval's music chronicle:
today,
Sons of Kemet,
whose title we listen
to Black to the future.
Program originally aired on July 2, 2021.
