At about 05:40 in the morning of August 12, a heavy rain broke out in Jiuji Town, Nanzhang County, Xiangyang City, Hubei. The Nanzhang County Fire Rescue Brigade received an alarm saying that due to continuous heavy rainfall, there were many people near No. 90 Nanjing Street, Jiuji Town, Nanzhang County. Residents’ homes were affected by the disaster, and several people were trapped in a critical situation.
After receiving the police, the Nanzhang County Fire Rescue Brigade quickly dispatched rescue operations and successfully evacuated a total of 83 trapped people.
