According to "Al Arabiya Net", investigations by the security authorities revealed that the accused was addicted to narcotics and alcohol, and he used to assault his victim's wife and their five children, and he was forcing them to beg for many years in order to provide him with the money needed to buy narcotics.
It was also not the first time he had tortured her, but rather he used to torture his wife, and he had previously held his wife without food or drink except what kept her alive for days, until the neighbors heard the distress of one of her children to help his mother, so the neighbor informed the police until the accused was arrested .
The Public Prosecution also remanded in custody the accused, pending investigations, for torturing his wife, assaulting his children, and exploiting them in begging by force and threats.
The victim added in the investigations of the Public Prosecution that her husband always beat her and her five children to force them to beg in order to provide enough money to buy drugs and alcohol, and confirmed his death threat to them, and added that he sold his taxi and their apartment and they moved to live in a rented apartment.
The wife added that she had been associated with her accused husband for 15 years, after her separation from her first husband, and was keeping pace with her affairs to raise her children. And the torture after last Eid al-Adha developed into shaving her hair.
During the interrogation with the accused, he admitted assaulting his wife with a wooden stick, shaving her hair, and using drugs and alcohol during this assault. The accused also denied that he detained her or used her and her children to beg with violence and threats.
