By strengthening the collection of early intelligence information, deepening the use of scientific and technological means such as "preliminary machine inspection" and "intelligent map review", it has continuously improved its supervisory and seizure skills. Severely crack down on smuggling of endangered species such as ivory and their products with the most stringent measures and strength.

In addition to bringing passengers into the country, Chengdu Customs has also seized ivory products such as scroll heads and humanoid ornaments in inbound mail on many occasions. The destinations include India, Japan and some European countries.
