From the Strait of the Pas de Calais to the Mediterranean.

This sporting challenge in an XXL triathlon version in relay, called “Coast to Coast”, is set up for the benefit of the Pure Ocean Foundation, which collects donations for research on marine ecosystems.

Swim crossing between Dover and Calais

The four Frenchwomen, Emilie Bertheaume, Barbara Charpentier, Emma Clair-Dumont and Géraldine Parodi, joined Dover by ferry and set off on Wednesday for the first stage: the crossing of the Strait of Pas de Calais by swimming, i.e. 35 km.

Then, departure by bike from Calais for 840 km to Verger d'Auriac, in the Vaucluse.

These four nature and sport enthusiasts will finally set off for a 130 km run. The finish line is set on the Catalans beach in Marseille this weekend.
