On August 10th, the villagers of Huchanggezhuang Village, Leting County, Tangshan, Hebei, celebrated the village’s special festival in various ways-the 76th "Victory Day of the War of Resistance".
On August 10, 1945 (the third day of the seventh month of the lunar calendar), the Eighth Route Army fought a siege and annihilation battle against Japanese invaders stationed in Laoting County in Gezhuang Village, Huchang, killing 78 Japanese soldiers.
Since then, the third day of the seventh month of the lunar calendar has become the unique special festival in the village-the "Victory Day of Anti-Japanese War", which has been 76 years.
