In his brief institutional statement to communicate the changes in the Government, without the presence of the press, Pedro Sánchez announced the beginning of "a new stage."

A month later, it is clear that the Prime Minister has failed in his attempt to relaunch government action.

The revulsive effect has been diluted and the proof is that no survey detects the recovery in the voting intention of PSOE and Podemos.

On the contrary, the Executive continues dragging an alarm deficiency

Before leadership, it has not gained solidity - despite relieving the hard core of the Cabinet - and continues to show unmistakable symptoms of division and incompetence.

The decisions that some of the new ministers have adopted represent an amendment to their predecessors, which reveals the fiasco of the Government to date. José Manuel Albares's attempt with Morocco corrects Laya's folly due to the hospitalization in Logroño of the leader of the Polisario Front, which led to one of the worst diplomatic crises with Rabat in recent decades. Similarly, the defense of the concerted system of the Minister of Education destroys the sectarianism of Celaá with this model. However, the departure of Iván Redondo from the leadership of the president's cabinet has not prevented flagrant communication failures from occurring, as revealed by the contradictory messages issued by different ministers on two key issues:the transfer of the MIR in Catalonia and the introduction of a tax to punish Madrid, which led to a blushing cross between Escrivá and María Jesús Montero. A month later it has also become clear that some of these changes were not motivated only by reasons of political strategy, but of convenience. The ruling of the Constitutional Court that overturns the state of alarm that imposed the first confinement and the shadows of suspicion on account of the inexplicable rescue of the airline Plus Ultra leave Calvo and Ábalos in a very bad place. The ruling of the Constitutional Court that overturns the state of alarm that imposed the first confinement and the shadows of suspicion on account of the inexplicable rescue of the airline Plus Ultra leave Calvo and Ábalos in a very bad place. The ruling of the Constitutional Court that overturns the state of alarm that imposed the first confinement and the shadows of suspicion on account of the inexplicable rescue of the airline Plus Ultra leave Calvo and Ábalos in a very bad place.

On the other hand, if Sánchez sought to iron out the differences with Podemos, it is clear that he has not succeeded.

The disagreements in the housing law and the recent clash between Robles and Belarra by Juan Carlos I show that the gap within the government is still far from being corrected.

What does remain in the Executive of Sánchez is his belligerence with the Judicial Power, as shown by the pressure from Pilar Llop to the Supreme Court for the pardons of the

, as well as the effort to deepen the division between Spaniards through the new "democratic memory" law promoted by Félix Bolaños, Minister of the Presidency.

Neither has, of course, changed the will of the Government to continue paying homage to its separatist partners, as has been evidenced in the bilateral commission with the Generalitat.

The changes of face have not prevented the Government from continuing like a headless chicken, without a clear roadmap, without a viable planning for European funds, with the ministers of Podemos going their own way and tied to the permanent blackmail of the independence movement.
