The comedian, Mohamed Henedy, succeeded in making a big boom in Egyptian cinema revenues in recent days, after he topped the box office with his new movie “The Man and the Mongoose”, four days after the work was launched. Because of the “Corona” crisis, while Ahmed Ezz’s movie “Al-Arif” earned revenues of more than 40 million pounds, in a period not exceeding only 20 days.

Henedy's movie achieved nearly two and a half million pounds, outperforming the rest of the works shown, and the work witnessed a great demand from the audience, especially since Henedy had been absent from the cinema for nearly four years.

In second place came the star Ahmed Ezz's movie "Al-Areef", which achieved daily revenues last week, which amounted to one million and 100 thousand pounds.

And “Al Arif” was written by Mohamed Sayed Bashir and directed by Ahmed Alaa El Deeb, starring Ahmed Ezz, Ahmed Fahmy, Mustafa Khater, Mahmoud Hamida, Carmen Basibes, Ahmed Khaled Saleh, Hazem Ihab, and a number of stars who appear as guests of honor, most notably Mohamed Mamdouh, and from Synergy production.

As for the movie “Some do not go to the authorized twice”, by Karim Abdel Aziz, it achieved during the past week a daily revenue of nearly 500,000 Egyptian pounds, and the film starring Dina El-Sherbiny and Majed El-Kadwany.

During the film, Karim Abdel Aziz embodies a media role that disguises a number of personalities to reveal the facts, and Dina El-Sherbiny presents the role of his wife, who is an expert in marital relations.

While Tamer Hosni achieved daily revenues last week of 400,000 pounds, with his movie "Mesh Ana", which stars Hala Shiha, Majed Al-Kadwany, Hajjaj Abdel-Azim, and Sawsan Badr, along with a number of guests of honor.

The movie "Ahmed Notre Dame" achieved daily revenue during the past week, amounting to 5,334 pounds per day, and it is starring Ramiz Jalal, Ghada Adel, Bayoumi Fouad and Hamdi Al-Mirghani.

As for the movie "Dido", it achieved 317 pounds, and it stars Karim Fahmy, Mohamed Tharwat, and Bayoumi Fouad.

Last week was one of the most important weeks in Egyptian cinema, as it achieved the highest revenues since the “Corona” crisis, and witnessed the gathering of the largest number of window stars.

The movie “Al-Arif” achieved a total revenue of more than 40 million pounds in a period not exceeding 20 days, to constitute a boom in terms of gains despite the crisis of theaters and precautionary measures since the beginning of the “Corona” crisis and its effects in the cinema.
