Bilqis is facing an unexpected crisis in Egypt

Singer Belqis was exposed to a sudden crisis with the Egyptian Syndicate of Musical Professions, after the Syndicate issued a decision during the past hours not to deal with the artist, or to issue permits for her in the future for any work in Egypt.

The union had stated in a statement that it would notify all government agencies and hotels of the ban on cooperating with Belqis, and not granting them any permits to practice singing in Egypt in the future.

The crisis came after Belqis revived a party at the Galaa Club of the Armed Forces, accompanied by Egyptian singer Ramy Sabry, without obtaining licenses from the union yesterday.

The crisis lasted for hours without any comment from Belqis, and soon the problem was finally resolved.

The Syndicate of Musical Professions said that the Syndicate's council decided to undo the suspension of the singer, Belqis, after she paid the relative fee due for her participation in the concert held at the Galaa Club.

There were rumors that Belqis' concert at the Egyptian Opera, scheduled to be held the day after tomorrow, is subject to cancellation due to this crisis, but sources close to Belqis confirmed that the concert exists and will not be canceled, as before her crisis with the union she had obtained a permit to sing at the opera some time ago.

Even in the absence of the recent reconciliation with the Syndicate following the crisis, it would have performed the opera ceremony according to the permit prior to the crisis, as it cannot be prevented as long as it obtained a permit prior to the date of the problem.

Sources confirmed that after Belqis reconciled with the Syndicate, the singer will continue to practice her activities in Egypt naturally during the period of her presence, whether in concerts or working on new singing projects.

Belqis revealed in her first statement that her position is legal, and that her next concert at the Egyptian Opera House, scheduled for Thursday, is on schedule, noting that the crisis that occurred does not exceed only a small difference in matters related to the permits of the Galaa Club concert, and that she did not go up on stage before Rest assured that all procedures are in order and obtain a concert permit.

She said: "Egypt is my country, and I am their daughter, and it is unreasonable for me to bypass an Egyptian law, and yesterday's concert went out wonderfully, and I was very happy to receive the Egyptian public and celebrate me."

She added, "I presented a number of new songs that will be released on my album, and I gave the audience yesterday one of my surprises for the coming period, which is the Egyptian song that I recorded recently, and it will be released in the coming days, and it is a diplomat's song.

Specifically, after the end of my concert, which is scheduled to be held at the Egyptian Opera House.
