Putin decided to establish the Order of Merit in Culture and Art

This is stated in the presidential decree published on the official Internet portal of legal information.

"In order to further improve the state award system of the Russian Federation, I decide: to establish an order" For Merit in Culture and Art "and a medal" For Works in Culture and Art, "the document says.

Also, Putin decided to approve the statute, description and image of the order, as well as the provision on the medal and its drawing.

Earlier, the President signed a decree on the naval flag of the Russian Federation, according to which orders on the flags of ships will be depicted differently.
