Yingshan County Emergency Management Bureau revealed that Mingde Township had urgently moved more than 1,000 people from lower terrain to higher terrain during the heavy rain. No casualties have been reported for the time being.
Due to landslides and stagnant water in many places on the road to Mingde Township, 6 firefighters and an assault boat rushed to the affected area while clearing the road.
After the fire rescue force arrived at the scene, they cooperated with the armed police officers and soldiers to transfer the masses, and successively transferred 30 masses safely, and at the same time assisted in guarding and prohibiting people from entering the dangerous area.
At present, firefighters are cooperating with local governments to escort the people back home safely and set up guards in dangerous areas.
