On August 8, affected by heavy rainfall, Dazhu County, Dazhou City, Sichuan Province initiated the county's first-level flood control emergency response.
In the morning of the same day, 13 rescue members of the Comprehensive Rescue Detachment of the Emergency Management Bureau of Dazhou City, Sichuan Province and 5 members of the Bashan rescue team rushed to the rescue site in Miaoba Town, Dazhu County with their equipment.
As of 14:00 on the same day, the first phase of rescue work had ended, and more than 200 people from the British town community in Miaoba Town Street were transferred.
