Our homeland, our people ”,“ Resistance at the ballot box ”,“ Creating the future ”,“ Shaping change ”- the election posters in this country are bursting with empty words, half-truths and sometimes meaningless ellipses, especially when it comes to the climate.

This opens the door to satire.

If you, too, want to test yourself humorously in this field, make your own poster with the election poster generator at https://www.deinplakatfuerunserezukunft.de.

Here you can first select a party from the drop-down menu - available are CDU / CSU, SPD, FDP, Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen, Die Linke and AfD. In the next step, you then determine a representative for the relevant party. Now you have to get creative: You can add a headline and several sub-lines, colors and background images. The theme of the poster generator is climate protection, so the posters you create are provided with a pre-formulated text on the climate protection activities (or non-activities...) Of the respective party - confusion with the originals is therefore impossible.

The completed posters can be downloaded and shared on social media.

It is worth taking a look at the small print on the website: The generator is offered in cooperation with the satirical party “Die Party”, which was founded in 2004 by the editors of the satirical magazine Titanic.

The best posters will be selected by “The Party” and hung up in a nationwide poster campaign.

In this respect, you are relinquishing the copyright, but your little joke could soon be hanging across the country!

Now our puzzling question:

Which party running for the federal election in 2021 is named after an SI unit?
