Shomali also considered that the starting point of the artwork is the research, noting that the topic is the starting point, and then she searches for the technology through which she can produce the artwork, whether it is film, photography, painting or sculpture. Shomali did not go through the abstract experience, and indicated that she tried a lot, but she was unable to feel this experience, and that is why she did not continue to present it.
She emphasized that she does not present any work that she does not feel and does not feel complete, explaining that the completion of the artwork is based on a set of elements, including mainly a sense of inner satisfaction.
This sense of satisfaction, Shomali saw, is reflected in the audience's interaction with her art, speaking about the experience of remote exhibitions in light of the "Corona" pandemic and how it affected people's reception of artwork.
