San Francisco police have released a picture of an American woman who has frightened viewers of an illegal car race in California, as a photo and video of her getting out of a speeding car with a Kalashnikov in her hand was documented, according to the New York Post.

The police indicated that the participants in the race were involved in drug cases, explaining that the photo was taken by one of the participants in the unlicensed event that was held on July 11 last.

The police did not name the woman who was carrying the Kalashnikov, as the accident is still under investigation, saying only that they managed to find the car involved in the accident and confiscate it.

Police released a photo showing the moment the car was seized and towed, along with a photo of the woman holding the Kalashnikov, and a San Francisco police spokesperson said, "Because the investigation has not ended, we can't comment further."
