From peaceful liberation to the turning of serfs, from gradual access to poverty alleviation... Over the past 70 years, Baji Village, Bayi Town, Bayi District, Linzhi City, Tibet Autonomous Region has undergone earth-shaking changes.

  The 75-year-old Dalong was once the secretary of the Party branch of Baji Village and a witness to this great change.

Recently, a reporter came to Dalong’s home to listen to the old man's account of the changes in the countryside he had witnessed in the past 70 years.

  Baji Village is located 1km from the outskirts of Nyingchi City. The whole village is distributed along the 318 National Highway. Its cultivated land area is 1,056 mu, woodland area is 83,751 mu, and grassland area is 75,115 mu. It is the largest administrative village in Bayi Town.

  In 2020, the total economic income of Baji Village will reach 37,063 million yuan, the annual per capita disposable income will be 47,000 yuan, and the estimated value of the village's collective assets will reach 1 billion yuan.

The villagers used their hard work and wisdom to embark on the road of getting rid of poverty and becoming rich.
