Chinanews, August 7 According to the official Weibo news of the Jiangsu Provincial Health Commission, between 0-24 o'clock on August 6th, there were 53 newly confirmed cases in Jiangsu (1 case reported in Nanjing City, 52 cases reported in Yangzhou City). 11 cases were light type, 41 cases were normal type, and 1 case was heavy type.
One newly imported confirmed case was added.
The above cases were treated in isolation in designated hospitals.
There were 5 newly discharged cases (all confirmed locally).
1 case of asymptomatic infection imported from abroad was released from medical observation.
Details of new cases will be released by relevant districts and cities.
Since July 20th, the province has reported a total of 516 local confirmed cases (229 in Nanjing, 12 in Huai'an, 272 in Yangzhou, and 3 in Suqian).
A total of 18 local confirmed cases have been discharged from hospital.
At present, there are 517 confirmed cases treated in isolation in designated hospitals, of which 498 are locally confirmed cases (138 cases of light type, 339 cases of normal type, 17 cases of severe type, and 4 cases of critical type).
There were 12 cases of asymptomatic infection under medical observation, including 1 case of indigenous asymptomatic infection.
