Approved by the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee, the Jiangsu Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection conducted an investigation into the ineffective prevention and control of the epidemic at Nanjing Lukou International Airport.
According to the current investigation situation, the relevant personnel will be dealt with in advance, and the notification will be as follows:
Wang Chao, member of the party committee, deputy general manager, and office director of Eastern Airport Group, and commander of the airport’s foreign epidemic prevention and control headquarters. Suspected of negligence, ineffective management and supervision of epidemic prevention and control, causing heavy losses and adverse effects. Yin Yunwen, director of the Emergency Rescue Department of Eastern Airport Group, was suspected of negligence of duty and ineffective management and supervision of epidemic prevention and control, causing major losses and adverse effects. The Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection reviewed and investigated his case and adopted lien measures.
Xu Yongjie, director of the Ground Service Department of Eastern Airport Group, did not perform his duties well in the prevention and control of the epidemic, causing heavy losses and adverse effects. The Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision made a case for review and investigation.
Hu Wanjin, the deputy mayor of Nanjing, failed to perform management and supervision responsibilities for the prevention and control of the epidemic, and gave him political demerit sanctions.
Yan Yingjun, former deputy secretary and district head of the Jiangning District Party Committee of Nanjing City, failed to perform management and supervision responsibilities for epidemic prevention and control. He was given a serious warning within the party and was demoted to a second-level investigator.
Fang Zhongyou, the secretary and director of the Nanjing Municipal Health and Health Commission’s Party Committee, failed to perform management and supervision responsibilities for the prevention and control of the epidemic. He was given a serious warning within the party and removed from the posts of the Party Secretary and Director of the Nanjing Health and Health Commission.
Other responsible personnel are still under investigation.
