Okinawa Prefecture announced on the 7th that it was confirmed that 548 new people were infected with the new coronavirus.
This is an increase of 109 people compared to last Saturday, making it the highest number of infected people ever announced on Saturday.
This brings the total number of infected people confirmed in the prefecture to 28,167.
