  This exhibition is co-sponsored by Guangzhou Federation of Literary and Art Circles, Guangdong Artists Association, Guangzhou Library, and undertaken by Guangzhou Animation Artists Association.

The exhibition is curated by Jin Cheng, the founder of the "China Animation Golden Dragon Award" and the deputy director of the Animation Art Committee of the Chinese Artists Association.

  The reporter learned that the animation art works exhibited this time have both the spirit of the times and high academic standards.

Among them, the newly emerging artist Chen Zhijie included Guangzhou's Xiaomanyao, Chen Clan Ancestral Hall, Litchi Bay, and the eaves of the arcade into a single picture. In hospitals, shelter laboratories, school playgrounds and temporary tents, nucleic acid tests were carried out for citizens with sweat and rain. The characters are lifelike, vividly reproducing the moving moments of the people of Guangzhou working together to fight the epidemic in the late spring and early summer of 2021.

The work has a grand composition and a magnificent scene, which is the first public exhibition.

  The works exhibited this time also include the huge comic scroll "A Hundred Years Illustrated Book".

The work was created by the director of the Guangzhou Animation Artists Association and the famous artist Luo Jikun, and his team took six months to complete.

  It is worth mentioning that the design manuscript of the mascot "Bingdun Dun" for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics also rarely appeared in the exhibition hall.

This "Bingdun Dun", which was born in Guangzhou and carefully created by the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts team, is a perfect fusion of traditional elements and modern design. As the Beijing Winter Olympics approaches, it is attracting more and more attention from the Chinese people.

  In addition, people at the exhibition site can also see the award-winning ink and wash animation "Endless Life" at the 13th National Art Exhibition, the popular "My Emperor", "History Meow", and "Kobayashi Comics", etc., covering Animation series, animated films, short animated films, narrative comics, picture books, illustrations, etc.

Various themes and rich forms represent one of the highest standards of contemporary Chinese animation art.

  The opening ceremony of the exhibition also released the "2021 Top Ten Animation Art" list, as well as wonderful samples of the 3D animation film "Huang Feihong" produced by a local institution in Guangzhou and directed by animation artist Huang Youzhen.
