Ibaraki Prefecture and Mito City announced on the 7th that it was confirmed that 256 new people were infected with the new coronavirus.
It was the third highest number of infected people announced daily and the highest number on Saturday.
A total of 14,045 people have been confirmed to be infected in Ibaraki Prefecture.
