Dubai Islamic Bank sponsored the medical expenses of the three brothers (Sidra - 19 years old), (Mohammed - three years) and (Abdul Latif - three months), for the second year in a row, at an amount of 184,327 dirhams, as the bank's management had previously helped them, last year, In the amount of 119,515 dirhams, in light of their need for lifelong treatment, the assistance will be disbursed to them every year.

And he coordinated the "hotline" between the bank's management and the Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities in Dubai, to transfer the amount of assistance to the patients' account at Tawam Hospital.

On January 22 last year, "Emirates Today" published the story of the three brothers suffering from a genetic metabolic disease, and their father's inability to reduce the cost of their treatment, which amounts to 184,327 dirhams for the current year.

The father of the three brothers told "Emirates Today" the story of their suffering, saying: "(Sidra), my eldest daughter, was born suffering from a genetic metabolic disease, and if she was one day late in taking her medication, she would have a permanent mental disability, and my wife (Muhammad) gave birth and he was also suffering from symptoms after his birth. His sister (Sidra), and in my wife’s last pregnancy, she gave birth to (Abdul Latif), and he suffers from the same symptoms, as it turned out that this is a genetic disease, and they were transferred to Tawam Hospital, and it was found after doctors’ examination that they suffer from this genetic disease, and they need lifelong treatment.

He explained, “If the necessary treatment is not taken regularly, the disease will cause a rise in toxic ammonia in the body, which will lead to the patient’s mental disability, so they must continue to take this treatment for life, but the cost of treatment is high, and my circumstances and financial capabilities do not allow me to manage cost him,” pointing out that some charities were helping him pay part of the treatment previously.

He pointed out that "in the event that medicine is not provided for one day, they will fall into a coma, and they are hospitalized, and my daughter (Sidra) was exposed to this, and I do not want to lose my children, or to have a mental disability."

He added that he is the only breadwinner for his family members, and he works as a teacher, with a salary of no more than 10,215 dirhams, of which 1,250 dirhams goes to the rent of the house, 1,500 dirhams goes to my children's school fees, 4,600 dirhams per month goes to bank supplies, and the rest of the salary is for life expenses.

The father of the three brothers expressed his happiness and deep thanks to the management of the bank, for the quick response and for taking care of the treatment of his children for the second year in a row, noting that the news of the donation made him feel a great joy that he did not feel throughout his life, and pointed out that this donation is not strange to the management of the bank, It is proactive in extending a helping hand to everyone in need, adding that the Bank always translates the policy of leadership and directs the state in humanitarian charitable work.

He continued, "The assistance made family members very happy, especially my wife, so much that she burst into a fit of tears upon hearing the news, especially since the costs of treating my children are very expensive, and their illness is very dangerous if they do not receive treatment on time, as this causes a lifelong mental disability in If you do not take medication.

The medical report issued by Tawam Hospital in Al Ain, and "Emirates Today" obtained a copy of it, stated that "the three patients (Sidra), (Mohammed) and (Abdul Latif), suffer from a genetic metabolic disease since birth, which causes a rise in toxic ammonia in the body, As a result, they will have an intellectual disability if the necessary treatment is not taken, and they will need treatment for life.”
