The Tokyo Olympics became almost unattended due to the spread of the new coronavirus.

I was asked to show me a picture taken with a smartphone to see what was memorable to overseas media people.

About 16,000 media people from overseas are visiting this tournament.

On the 6th, at Tokyo Big Sight, which is the base of the interview, I listened to the story while showing the photos taken during the period.

Among them, a male staff member of a German radio station showed me a picture of Japanese people gathering around the Olympic monument near the national stadium and taking pictures.

The male staff commented, "I can't watch the game, but at least I want to see the monument, which is the symbol of the Olympics."

A female staff member of a British television station showed me a copy of a PCR test kit.

Women cover sports competitions around the world, but this is the first time they have been tested frequently, and she says she felt the effects of the new coronavirus.

The woman said, "I wanted you to be negative every time."

A Czech newspaper reporter was filming a handwritten message saying "Takoyaki" that he bought at the food court at the competition venue and "Have a good day" on the lid of the box. The man was impressed by the mysterious taste he experienced for the first time, and also felt a little consideration.

The man said, "I smiled when I saw the warm message. It was one of the few memories of my stay in Japan, where I couldn't eat out because of corona measures and could hardly interact with Japanese people." I did.
