The acceleration of hospitalizations is confirmed.

1,458 Covid-19 patients were hospitalized in critical care this Friday, against 1,420 Thursday, according to figures published by Public Health France.

165 new admissions were registered there in 24 hours.

A figure still on the rise a week after the threshold of 1,000 patients was crossed in these services which treat the most serious cases.

The number of hospitalizations is also up with 8,368 patients on Friday (including 862 new admissions in 24 hours) against 8,210 the day before.

The number of daily deaths linked to Covid-19 in hospitals is also on the rise with 60 in the last 24 hours, against 52 the day before.

On the vaccination side, 44,413,560 people have received at least one injection (i.e. 65.9% of the total population) since the start of the campaign and 36,919,028 people now have a complete vaccination schedule (i.e. 54.6% of the population total).
