Two Vietnamese were arrested by the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department for smuggling from the United States by hiding about 10 kg of stimulants in a can of nuts and the equivalent of 600 million yen at the end of the trafficking price.

Nguyen Zi Duc (39), who is a Vietnamese national and lives in Isesaki City, Gunma Prefecture, and Ha Kuang Zi (32), both of whom have no address, were arrested.

According to the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, it is suspected that the Stimulants Control Law was violated in June, when 12 cans of nuts were smuggled with about 10 kg of stimulants and 600 million yen worth of smuggling at the end.

Since it is rare for Vietnamese to send luggage from the United States to Japan, customs at Haneda Airport found that the stimulant was hidden, and two people were identified from the shipping address etc. is.

All of them remain silent in response to the investigation.

The Metropolitan Police Department is investigating the acquisition route in detail, assuming that Vietnamese smuggling groups in the United States are involved.
