Regarding the coral transplantation work associated with the relocation work of the U.S. military Futenma base off Okinawa City to Henoko, Nago City, the prefecture has suspended the effect of the prefecture's withdrawal of the transplantation permit. On the 6th, we gave administrative guidance to the Okinawa Defense Bureau not to resume the transplantation work immediately.

Regarding the coral transplantation work carried out by the Okinawa Defense Bureau off the coast of Henoko, Nago City, Okinawa Prefecture, the permission was withdrawn because the prefecture did not comply with the conditions when the transplantation was permitted, but the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries took effect on the 5th. Since it was paused, it is now possible to resume work.

In response to this, Governor Tamaki of Okinawa Prefecture said at a press conference on the evening of the 6th, "I have to say that there remains a great deal of doubt as to the response of the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, who is originally in a position to promote the protection of fishery resources." I criticized.

After that, it was revealed that the Okinawa Defense Bureau was instructed not to resume the transplantation work immediately in order to increase the survival rate of coral as much as possible.

The administrative guidance that the prefecture asks the Okinawa Defense Bureau not to carry out transplantation work was given just before the withdrawal of the transplantation permit on the 30th of last month, and this is the second time.

On the other hand, Governor Tamaki said, "I would like to consider what kind of method can be taken while referring to the opinions of experts" as to whether or not to bring a trial against the country.
