CNN fires 3 employees who came to work without being vaccinated

CNN has fired three employees for coming to their workplace without receiving vaccines against the Corona virus.

And “Bloomberg” news agency reported today, Friday, that “CNN” has ordered all employees, working in its offices, to obtain a full vaccination.

In a memo to employees Thursday, CNN president Jeff Zucker said the network had a "zero tolerance policy" and fired the three employees after learning last week that they had come to their workplace without a vaccination.

"You have to get vaccinated to come to the office," he said. And you have to get vaccinated to work in this field, with other employees, regardless of whether you enter an office or not.”

Consequently, CNN relied on an "honor system" and did not require employees to show proof that they had been vaccinated.

Zucker added that the network is also postponing the return of employees to its offices from the seventh of September to “early to mid-October,” in light of the return of high cases of Corona virus.
