The stall of the presidential portrait took place on Monday, as part of a demonstration against the health pass, in the town hall of Bisontin.
Referred at the end of his police custody, Stéphane Espic, who had become known during the movement of "yellow vests", was placed under judicial supervision for "theft and damage to public property".

One of his lawyers, Me David Libeskind, denounced to AFP "abusive and disproportionate" accusations and a "political arrest", adding that his client is an "eccentric personality who has political demands" but "who did not commit violence ”.
A press release from his lawyers also specifies that the action was filmed and posted on Facebook.
The video visible on the "support for dissidence" group shows in particular the portrait of the Head of State being removed from its frame by one and replaced by a photocopy of a QR code in the form of a middle finger and bearing the words "no to the health pass!"
