A memorial service was held on the morning of the 6th at the "Atomic Bomb Memorial Tower" in Hiroshima City, where the remains of those who were victims of the atomic bomb and whose identities and bereaved families were unknown are stored.

The "Atomic Bomb Memorial Tower" in Peace Park contains the remains of about 70,000 victims of the atomic bomb, whose identities are unknown or whose bereaved families have not been found even if their names are known.

The memorial service is held every year at the "Hiroshima War Damage Memorial" held by the A-bomb survivors and their bereaved families. To prevent the infection of the new coronavirus, the number of participants has been significantly reduced, and about 20 people attended. It was held after 6 am.

At the memorial service, Buddhist, Christian, and Shinto officials attended to pray for peace across religions and denominations, and prayed according to their respective conventions.

A 79-year-old woman from Hatsukaichi said, "I was safe because my mother and I were evacuated, but my father is still missing after the atomic bomb. The war has affected decades. I want to convey to the younger generation that we are continuing. "

For 815 of the people whose remains have been stored, although the names are known, the bereaved families have not been found even after 76 years, so Hiroshima City has published the list on its homepage and left the remains. I'm looking for a taker.
