Finally, we know the final contours of the new health law.

Voted in parliament on July 25, the text providing in particular for the extension of the health pass still had to pass into the hands of the Constitutional Council in order to be validated or possibly revoked.

The Wise Men, seized by Jean Castex and the left parliamentary groups finally decided on Thursday to validate the extension of the health pass while censoring compulsory isolation in the event of contamination and the anticipated termination of a CDD or interim in the no health pass.

The law will come into force from this Monday, August 9.

This means that from this date, any person wishing to go to a place of leisure welcoming more than 50 people must have a valid health pass: a complete vaccination schedule, a PCR or antigen test of less than 48 hours. or proof of coronavirus contamination less than six months old.

The initial text also provided for compulsory vaccination for caregivers from September 15 and isolation for people who tested positive for Covid-19.

Another measure particularly criticized in the medical community: the obligation to present a valid health pass to go to the hospital, whether to receive care (except emergency) or accompany a patient.
