After Zhengzhou, Sanmenxia City, Xuchang City, and Zhumadian City also initiated nucleic acid testing for all employees.
Since the first case of asymptomatic infection was found in Erqi District, Zhengzhou City on July 30, the number of infections in Henan has been increasing, and the number of medium- and high-risk areas has also been increasing.
In the face of the epidemic, Zhengzhou City urgently initiated nucleic acid testing for all employees in Erqi District on July 31, and all employees in Zhengzhou City from August 1 to 3.
On the evening of August 4, Zhengzhou officially held a press conference on "Prevention and Control of New Coronary Pneumonia Epidemics in Zhengzhou" and announced that as of 16:00 on August 4, 11.18 million people sampled for the first round of nucleic acid testing in Zhengzhou were all completed. The mission has screened 99 confirmed cases and asymptomatic infections.
The second round of nucleic acid testing for all employees in Erqi District, Zhengzhou City began at 15:00 on August 3, and as of 18:00 on the 4th, a total of 885,000 people had been sampled and 687,000 had been tested, all of which were negative.
On August 5, Zhengzhou issued a notice, in order to further block the risk of the spread of the epidemic, it has decided to carry out the second round of nucleic acid testing for all employees in the city.
Sampling started at 9:00 on August 5 and completed at 17:00 on the 6th.
For those who refuse to cooperate, do not support nucleic acid sampling and testing, disrupt the order, conceal, misreport, or falsify information, the public security organs will strictly pursue legal liabilities in accordance with the law.
Sanmenxia City, Xuchang City, and Zhumadian City are also intensively conducting nucleic acid tests for all employees.
Sanmenxia City issued a notice to carry out nucleic acid testing for all employees in counties (cities, districts) and units throughout the city from August 4 to 7; Xuchang City issued a notice to conduct free nucleic acid tests for all employees in the central city from August 5 to 8. Zhumadian City announced that at 12:00 on August 5th, nucleic acid testing for all employees in Suiping County, Xiping County, Yicheng District, City Urban-Rural Integration Demonstration Zone, High-tech Zone, and Economic Development Zone will be launched in Zhumadian City.
